Ulta Haul

Thought I would get back into the blogging business with a haul.

Since the Luxe Box advent calendar back in December, I’ve been on project low-buy for practically everything. I had to pack and move 4 years worth of stuff out of Canada while living off a suitcase for 5 weeks. I was also satisfied with everything I have already owned.

I’ve been back in the states for close to two weeks now and surprisingly; project low-buy has yet to be forsaken.

I popped by my local Ulta a couple of days ago and treated myself to a couple of items and the rest were necessities. 

1.  4 Real Techniques brushes
They were buy “1 get 1 50% off”. I took advantage of the sale and got them in pairs. I picked up the powder brush, expert face brush, shading brush and the setting brush. I’m excited to try them out! Hopefully a review will come up soon! 

2. Urban Decay’s Naked Basics Palette
This palette was the impulse buy. My excuse was that it is small and compact for my upcoming New Orleans trip. I don’t have a lot of matte shadows, I am definitely excited to try this out!

3. NYX blush in Pinched
I’ve been on the look out for this shad for a while now and I am so glad to get my hands on it! Like it’s name, this is a shimmery natural ‘pinched’ pink shade

4. Clean & Clear Oil-free Dual Action Moisturizer

This will replace my recently emptied Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion. Ever since my move back to the states, the change in climate has had my face breaking out.

5.   Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Oil-free Acne Scrub

I had to choose between losing this and an overweight luggage, and I picked the former. It was on my definite must buy list.

Anyways, I’m off to play with this little one, she’s been fishing for some love and attention :)
