Loose Button Luxe Advent Calendar: 3rd December

I am honestly loving the daily surprise, especially when I had a long day of studying for finals, it is lovely to take a break to open a door, check out the product and blog about it!

It's well into the middle of the night of the 3rd and I apologize for the lighting. I had to use a flash so that the product would appear in the background. :)

Hiding behind door 3 is a the ShuUemura Phyto-black lift Youth degree remodeling anti-wrinkle concentrate (wow that was a mouth full!)

I was seriously impressed by the size of the sample! I was given 10mL (0.3oz), which is a pretty good amount to experiment with. I have not tried any skincare products from Shu Uemura and have heard loads of good stuff about it.

According the the Shu Uemura website, this product is describe to be:

a lightweight fluid with the highest concentration of phyto-black actives. empowered with the powerful asian black phyto ingredient, shiitake extract, that stimulates and protects various types of collagens for wrinkle reduction and skin density. fine lines and wrinkles look diminished and skin looks firmer, smoother and younger. suitable for all skin types.

The sample comes with a dropper, which makes application easier and more sanitized. The smell of the concentrate is that of light and refreshing. :)

You can purchase this product at any Shu Uemura counters, or visit their website (by clicking on me). This product retails at $155 for 1.01oz. Considering that I got almost a third of the full-size product, I am pretty happy. :)

If you are like me and are pretty confuse about when and where to apply this product, here's what I understood from their website:

1. Cleanse your face 
2. Apply your moisturizer 
3. Apply this concentrate around eyes and areas of concern
4. Follow up with another face cream. 

I believe this product can be used for both day time and night time. I will definitely be integrating this into my daily routine. 

Overall, I am really happy with this advent Calendar. I like how Loose Button made sure that we do not receive items from the same brand back to back.
