Loose Button Luxe Advent Calendar: 18th December

Hey guys!

Behind the 18th door is the Lancome Tresor Eau de Parfum Spray! 

The packing is super pretty and elegant :)

I have yet to open it as I left this back in Vancouver.

Loose Button Luxe Advent Calendar: 15th December

GOOOD MORNING! :) 

Today's post will be super short compared to the others as I have my last final exam this afternoon and will be out the rest of the night to celebrate :) I thought a short post is better than breaking my promise of blogging everyday until Christmas. 

So behind the 15th door is the Lancôme Hypnôse Doll Lashes mascara!

Being a mascara junkie, I was definitely happy to receive this!

I have yet to try out this mascara and will definitely be doing a full and complete review about this when I do have the time to try it out :)

Loose Button Luxe Advent Calendar: 12th December

Hey all ,

It is officially 13 more days til Christmas! We're half way through the advent calendar!
Hiding being the 12th door is the the Lancôme Bi-Facil Double-Action Makeup Remover.

This is probably the most impressed I've been amongst all the other 11 products. I heard SO much great stuff about it and am super happy to receive it! :)

This is described as a "double-phase liquid [that] is fresh as water, yet removes even waterproof makeup. Gental enough for sensitive eyes".

This is a 50mL sample, which I think is perfect. It's not too big or small to travel with and allows for many opportunities to truly test out the product.

I will put this to good use during my 3 weeks back home this Christmas and will be back to report my experience :)

Loose Button Luxe Advent Calendar: 10th December

Hey guys!

I hope you guys are having a great day so far!
I am back and ready to reveal the product behind the 10th door :)

Today, I got the another skincare product, this time it is the Lancôme Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate.

This is the 2nd Lancome product I have recieved from this advent calendar. Base off the name, I am guessing that this another anti-aging serum that can be incorporated in our skincare routine.

I like how Lancôme really put a lot of thought into their samples and this one came along with a dropper for easier usage.

Loose Button Luxe Advent Calendar: 7th December

Hey everyone :), 

I hope your December is going well so far! We're well into the 1st week and we have 17 more days til Christmas! 

Today, door number 7 led me to the Lancôme Visionnaire Advance Skin Corrector. 

To be honest, I am pretty new to skin-care products out there as I've been religiously faithful to Clinique and several drug store brands ever since I was 14. I never had to urge to drastically step out of my comfort-zone and change my routine. 

Naturally, I was over-whelmed with the amount of skin-care products I've received in this 7 days so far... 3 samples out of 7, that's ~43%; a lot if you were to ask me :P

I had no idea what this product was nor have I heard anything about it so I did a little research and this was how it was described in Sephora: 

More than a wrinkle-corrector, this product is capable of fundamentally re-creating more beautiful skin. The first skincare product with [LR 2412 4%], a molecule designed to propel through skin layers, it triggers a cascading series of micro-transformations along its path. On the surface, wrinkles and pores are visibly corrected. Imperfections like signs of UV damage and acne marks appear diminished. 

Sounds pretty much like the last 2 products I've obtained from Day 3 & Day 4.

I currently trying out the serum from Shu from Day 4, and will wait til I finish that before I try this one out.

I really like how Lancôme included a wand applicator to make usage easier. It really goes to show how much thought and care they had put in to produce this sample. 

This is a serum, so should go on after the moisturizer followed by your day or night cream. :)

Loose Button's 2012 Luxe Advent Calendar!

Hey everyone!

I was literally jumping for joy and excitement when I saw a box right when I entered my house. I knew for sure that it was going to be my long awaited Luxe Advent Calendar from Loose Button!

This is basically an advent calendar for December 1st all the way to the 24th. So, there are 24 deluxe size beauty products from Lancôme, Yves Saint Laurent, Giorgio Armani and Shu Uemura! I do not usually splurge on high-end beauty products, so this is definitely a great opportunity to try them out. :)

Unfortunately, for those who are interested in purchasing this limited edition calendar, it is sold out - I ordered mine back in mid-October. This was a definitely a splurge and costed me $109 + shipping.

Anyways, I would like for you guys to join me in the daily 'unboxing' surprise :) I will be blogging everyday from 1st - 24th of December about the product that is part of the specific day. :)
